Job Description:

Lexus of Northborough is looking to add a receptionist to assist our busy dealership and client needs! If you have a smile that can be felt through the phone, we would love to meet you!

FULL TIME & PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE! WEEKEND & EVENING HOURS AVAILABLE!

Our dealership receptionist answers and routes incoming calls, takes thorough messages, and provides basic information to callers. S/he is the dealership’s front-line contact with the public and must represent the dealership in a professional, friendly manner at all times. S/he greets customers as they enter the showroom and directs them to the appropriate party in accordance with dealership policies and answers basic inquiries. Other responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Field heavy amounts of incoming calls
  • Protect the legal, financial and moral well being of the dealership
  • Ensure all calls and customers are greeted in a timely and welcoming fashion to initiate positive visits;
  • Accurately file receipts and permits to maintain an accurate record keeping process to ensure quick data retrieval;
  • Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful; Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.

Primary Duties:

  • Give excellent customer service.
  • Achieve customer service satisfaction standards while facilitating incoming calls and traffic.
  • Cover for dealership cashier when needed.
  • Effectively greets, communicates and guides customers to appropriate departments for assistance.
  • Reports to work on time and maintains a reliable work schedule which fosters a dependable environment for customers and team members.
  • Effectively communicate with and perform all job duties requested by management.
  • Perform all other job duties as requested by management.
  • Operate with integrity.
  • Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
  • Set an example of good attitude and professionalism, including a neat, orderly and safe work environment.
  • Communicate and help resolve customer complaints and adjustments.
Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent, preferred
  • Experience with inbound/outbound phone systems
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Customer service experience
  • Professional communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work performed in a dealership administrative setting due to necessity to welcome dealership customers and guests in person.
  • Regularly required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Required to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Required to use phones and other forms of technology.
  • Perform other duties as required.
